Penguin info contains all kinds of information about penguins:
Biology is the largest area. It contains individual pages with information about what penguins anatomy and eating habits, where they live and travel and their breeding and a lot more.
Evolution tells the history of penguins including the reason they live south of the equator.
Names tells you about the origins of the name penguin and the different penguin species.
You'll find out that no one is sure where the name "penguin" itself came from.
Organisation includes names of organisations which work to preserve penguins against their Enemies.

Most of this information is based on the books "Was ist was : Pinguine" and "Die Welt der Pinguine", written in German by Prof. Boris Culik (the second in co-operation with Rory Wilson), who gave me permission to translate it in Dutch and English and use it to make a great site, for which I want to say special thanks.

Furthermore I got permission from Peter and Barbara Barham to use their information too, partly based on the book "The penguins" from Tony Williams. Here also special thanks.

Ranger Dave Houston allowed me to use parts of his information and pictures. Thanks!

The professional photographer Kevin Schafer gave me permission to add a few of his wonderful pictures. Here too very special thanks.

Every time I use pictures of these persons, I always remarked it with ©.
All the same : when I used pictures, where a link should be and it isn't there, please let me know by

Just one little remark : As you perhaps already noticed, English isn't my mother language, so excuse me if I made errors and I will thankful accept every help to correct them.
Here I want to thank Barry Benefield, who has offered his help for it, and already started with it too.
